Jake Island remix album, with me plus Crazy P, Shur-i-kan, Fred Everything, and Tensnake
Toolroom commissioned a shedload of deep house remixes last year to accompany Jake Island's debut album release. They aren't best known for their deepness but they have a few knowledgeable heads behind the scenes (including George Ankrett who use to run Offset Music), and decided to take the plunge.
The mixes were staggered over four EPs and eight months; they've now released them in full as an album. It's quite a tasty affair all things considered, with the pick of the mixes from Crazy P, Shur-i-kan, Fred Everything, and Tensnake.
