I've got a new remix out on Eighth Dimension, a hypnotic dubby rework of Jevne's Following the System. You can listen via the player below, and if you like it you can now snap up at Beatport.
We've got a new Giom EP out on Lost My Dog today, with four Giom tracks that haven't seen the light of day before. One of them is a previously unreleased remix of Giom's In Love, by me.
You can listen and buy at Stompy. It'll be elsewhere in a couple weeks.
Thug Records (from down under) have just released a compilation of remixes from the label, including reworks from Lukas Greenberg, Nacho Marco, Jamie Anderson, plus my "melody shift" remix of Adam Jace's Down South.
My guess is that they wanted to release it before they lost the Ashes again... but that's just a guess ; )
You can listen to all 12 tracks in the player below, and buy on Juno.
I had a new remix out last month, and for once I forgot to shout about it.
It's a deep vocal remix of the new Karoshi release (they're a band from up there in Newcastle). The original (and most of the other mixes) are full on electro-house-pop, I took things back towards house music as you can probably guess.
You can listen below, and buy on Juno. I believe it'll be available with other online retailers shortly.
There's a new Southside Shuffle release out today, and I've done an edit of one of the tracks. You can listen in Juno's funky new player below, and buy at Juno Download and Beatport if you're keen.
Everyone loves a freebie right? Well here are two for you, in the shape of a pair of remixes I've done for Artizan Music. The original track is by Tim Split, and you can download my dub and vocal mix for free from SoundCloud or the player below. They are yours to do what you like with - feel free to use, abuse, and share freely!
I recently did some remixes for the US West Coast label Prismatic, run by Andrew Phelan from Moulton Studios in San Francisco. I did two versions that straddle the line between melodic deep house and modern/nu/whatever-the-hell-you-want-to-call-it disco. The promos have gone down well, and the release is now available on Beatport.
Samples are below for your enjoyment. It'll be available in all download shops come a few weeks, and the main mix is also going to be included on Pristmatic's first ever vinyl release, due out early 2010.
Toolroom commissioned a shedload of deep house remixes last year to accompany Jake Island's debut album release. They aren't best known for their deepness but they have a few knowledgeable heads behind the scenes (including George Ankrett who use to run Offset Music), and decided to take the plunge.
The mixes were staggered over four EPs and eight months; they've now released them in full as an album. It's quite a tasty affair all things considered, with the pick of the mixes from Crazy P, Shur-i-kan, Fred Everything, and Tensnake.
You can buy the album from £5.99 on Juno Download and £6.35 on Beatport: decent value for 14 tracks.
And if you're interested in my mix, a kind soul has uploaded it to YouTube...
I make house music. Here's a clip of a remix I did over the August bank holiday—the original track is by the South African group Bang Bang. The record will be released on Lost My Dog later this year.
